Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of https://mabontleaura.co.za and any purchase you make from Mabontle Aura. By placing an order you agree to them.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002. Where a term conflicts with those Acts, the Act prevails.

Orders are placed through WhatsApp. Sending us your selection is an offer to purchase; it is accepted only once we have confirmed the order with you and payment has cleared. Until then we may decline it — for example if an item has sold out or we cannot verify the delivery details.

If we cannot fulfil an order after payment, we will refund you in full within seven business days and tell you why.

We reserve the right to limit quantities per customer, and to decline orders that appear to be for resale without agreement.

All prices are in South African Rand and include VAT where applicable. Prices exclude delivery unless stated otherwise.

Payment arrangements are made with you directly over WhatsApp. Your order is confirmed once payment has cleared. Prices shown on the site are the current selling prices and may change from time to time.

We take reasonable care with pricing, but if a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price we will contact you before dispatch and give you the choice of paying the correct price or cancelling for a full refund.

We deliver throughout South Africa via PUDO locker (2 – 4 business days) or PEP store (3 – 5 business days). Delivery costs R 120 per order.

Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. We are not liable for delays caused by our courier partners, load shedding, weather or events outside our control, though we will always help you resolve them.

PUDO parcels must be collected within 48 hours of the collection PIN being issued. Uncollected parcels are returned to us, and re-delivery is charged at the standard rate.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery or collection.

Unopened products in their original sealed packaging may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price. Return shipping is at your cost unless the product was faulty or incorrectly supplied.

For health and hygiene reasons we cannot accept the return of opened fragrance or body oil, except where the product is defective, has been incorrectly supplied, or does not match its description.

If a product arrives damaged or faulty, send us a photograph within 48 hours of collection and we will replace it at our cost or refund you in full — your choice.

Approved refunds are paid to the account used for the original payment within seven business days of us receiving the returned goods.

We describe our fragrances as accurately as we can, but scent is subjective and is affected by skin chemistry, hydration and climate. A fragrance smelling different on you than described is not a defect.

Product photography is representative. Slight variation in packaging, label finish and liquid colour occurs naturally between batches.

Our products are for external use only. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. If you have sensitive skin or known allergies, review the ingredient list on the packaging before use, or ask us for it before ordering.

All content on this site — including the Mabontle Aura name, logo, product names, photography and written copy — belongs to us and may not be reproduced, distributed or used commercially without our written permission.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability arising from any order is limited to the value of that order.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, personal injury or fraud where such exclusion would be unlawful.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
